In nCore HR, it is possible to invite candidates to asynchronous video interviews, a useful tool for assessing their interpersonal skills or simply to deepen some technical topics already at the screening stage.
The video interview can be introduced by the client directly into the position being created, or sent separately by selecting one or more candidates from the list within the position and then clicking on the drop-down menu Invite to video interview.
The latter option also allows the video interview to be sent to candidates who have been added manually and therefore those who did not register it at the application stage.
Within the candidate's profile, it is possible to review the recorded video interview via the Videos tab.
From the candidate's point of view, recording the video interview is very simple and intuitive. Once he/she has finished on the interview page, he/she will first see the welcome message with a video presentation of the client company (if set up in the SetUp phase). By clicking on Continue, the candidate will be on the technical settings page. nCore HR will proceed to check the compatibility of the browser used, the microphone and the webcam, as well as the connection quality. Once the settings are finished, you will need to record and review the test video, after which you can click on Continue with the tutorial.
The tutorial lasts a few seconds and explains exactly how the video interview interface works. If necessary, it can be replayed, otherwise you will be able to click on Start video interview to continue with the recording.
The inserted questions will appear to the candidate one after the other, with the corresponding preparation and answer time. At the end of the recording, the system will inform the candidate when he/she can close the page.
