nCore HR is a modern Recruiting Automation Software that allows you to handle high volumes of applications for medium-sized and large companies with a strong focus on process governance. With the help of advanced technology, it is possible to carry on talent management, candidate communication, remote HR departments, and more in a smart way.
Delivered via the web, nCore HR does not require any kind of installation but can be used simply from the main browsers available (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, etc.), requiring only an Internet connection.
Within nCore HR, a tool is available that allows clients to outsource the search and selection (totally or partially) of candidates, while retaining full control over key aspects such as tone of voice, branding, screening processes and communication with candidates.
This section of the guide is dedicated to external users involved by nCore HR clients and brings together all the information needed to become familiar with the platform.
Glossary
The following is a collection and explanation of some specific terms used in nCore HR.
Client - a client company of nCore HR that outsources one or more searches.
External Recruiter - a user external to the platform who is hired to conduct one or more selections for the Client.
Dataset - data / information collected about the candidate. In nCore HR there are different types of datasets with different purposes of use. The external recruiter will find two types:
- Custom Dataset (candidate dataset) - information to be requested from the candidate during the first step of the application. It may be personal data, CVs, documents, or other types of data to start classifying candidates according to the profile you are looking for.
- Internal datasets - sheets of information about the candidate, compiled by the recruiter when processing the application. They can be used as evaluation sheets or to collect more sensitive information about the candidate, such as salary expectations or other information that is not usually requested through a questionnaire, but through a live interview or telephone interview.
The main difference between the two types of dataset is that the Custom Dataset is filled in by the candidate, while the Internal Dataset is filled in by the recruiter. Both types of dataset are configured by the client according to their own selection processes.
Pipeline - selection funnel whose steps represent the stages of the selection process leading to the recruitment of candidates. The pipeline, if made visible to the external recruiter by the client, appears within the position on the left-hand side of the page.
Pipeline automation - automatic sending of communications or requests for further information to candidates within a given step of the pipeline.
Scoring questions - an optional position step in which the candidate is required to answer questions. Each answer choice contains a precise score which allows the system to automatically rank the candidates based on their chosen answer choice.
Distance filter - in the Position Setup step there is a distance filter which allows the address of the position (normally, the place of work) to be plotted and then define the distance in km to the candidate's completed home address.
